eSIM for Réunion

An eSIM is a built-in SIM card that does not need to be physically inserted into your device. It is integrated into the device chip, allowing you to download and activate mobile plans over the internet. To start using an eSIM, you need to buy a plan, scan a QR code, or enter a special activation code on your device. Supported devices also let you switch quickly between multiple plans.

To buy an eSIM, choose a suitable plan on our website, pay for it, and you will receive a QR code for activation on your device.

1. Check eSIM support on your device

Before you begin, make sure your device supports eSIM. You can check this in your device settings by looking for the “Mobile Network” or “SIM cards” section. If the device supports eSIM, you will see an option to add an eSIM.

2. Buy an eSIM on our website

Choose the plan you need on our website, pay for it, and after a successful purchase a QR code for activation will be sent to your email.

3. Prepare for activation

• Open your device settings.

4. Add the eSIM on iPhone (for iOS users):

• Go to “Settings” > “Mobile Data” > “Add Plan”.

• Select “Use QR Code”.

7. Additional settings (if needed)

• If you use two operators, such as an eSIM and a physical SIM card, check which operator is used for mobile data, calls, and SMS in your settings.

• You can switch between plans through the settings menu when needed.

8. Done!

You have successfully activated your eSIM and can use internet access, calls, and SMS if they are included in your plan. Your device is connected, and you are online.

After purchasing an eSIM, to activate mobile internet you need to:

• Scan the provided QR code or manually enter the plan details.

• After activating the eSIM, make sure mobile internet is enabled in your device settings.

• Check that the correct operator is selected for data usage.

Can I make phone calls or send SMS?

Yes, if your plan includes voice calls and SMS, these features will be available within the territory specified in the plan and if your device supports them.

❗️Important:

Our eSIMs are not suitable for receiving SMS or calls outside the plan country. For example, if you buy an eSIM for the USA, calls and SMS will only work in the USA.

Our eSIMs are also not intended for activating banks, messengers, or other online services. They are not suitable for these purposes.

eSIM technology is supported by modern smartphones and devices, including the latest iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and other models. To make sure your device supports eSIM, check your settings or refer to your device documentation.

The plan validity period starts from the moment the eSIM is activated. This happens after successfully scanning the QR code or entering the plan activation code.

Yes, unlimited plans include a maximum-speed allowance. Each day, you can use up to 1 GB at maximum speed. After reaching this limit, internet speed is reduced to 512 Kbps. The limit resets the next day, and maximum speed becomes available again. In some countries, the local carrier may additionally limit speed or traffic priority during peak network load. In these cases, speed may temporarily decrease further depending on the carrier policy and network congestion.

Yes, you can check your plan balance and remaining limits in your personal account. All remaining allowance information will be available after you log in.

Yes, an eSIM can work abroad if roaming is included in your plan. Check your plan details for the exact terms of use.

Yes, on devices with Dual SIM support, you can use both an eSIM and a physical SIM card at the same time, allowing you to use two different plans on one device.

If you have trouble activating your eSIM, first make sure your device supports eSIM. Then check your internet connection and try activating it again. If needed, contact our support team.

If your device does not connect to the internet, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Enable data roaming:

• Go to “Settings” > “Mobile Data” > “Data Roaming” and turn it on.

• This is required because some eSIM plans use roaming to connect to the network.

2. Check cellular data settings:

• Make sure your eSIM is selected as the main source for internet access.

3. Select the operator manually:

• Turn off automatic operator selection in your settings.

• Go to “Settings” > “Mobile Networks” and select an available operator manually from the list.

4. Turn “Airplane Mode” on and off:

• Turn airplane mode on, wait a few seconds, and turn it off. This can help restore the network connection.

These steps usually solve the issue and restore internet access. If the problem persists, contact our support team for additional help.

No, after activating an eSIM, you cannot change the plan to another one. You will need to buy a new plan if the current one does not suit you.

The number type depends on the selected Voice+SMS plan and the operator used to activate the eSIM. Each operator issues a number from its own country, and the usage terms depend on the region.

+1 number (USA / Canada / Mexico)

A +1 number is assigned to plans that operate on North American networks.

How the +1 number works:

• Correct operation only in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

• Voice services are provided only within one country, for example USA→USA or Canada→Canada.

Restrictions:

• Calls between countries, for example USA→Canada, use package minutes.

• Using the number outside the USA, Canada, or Mexico leads to faster consumption of minutes and SMS.

+33 number (France)

A +33 number is issued for European and global Voice+SMS plans.

How the +33 number works:

• Fully supported in all European Union countries.

• European plans may include unlimited calls and SMS within the EU, depending on the plan.

• Global plans use international minutes and SMS from the package.

Restrictions:

• All outgoing calls outside the EU use the international minute package.

• If the destination country is not included in the package, minutes are consumed faster.

+44 number (United Kingdom)

+44 numbers are issued by some UK operators, such as O2 and Vodafone, available in 25GB and 35GB packages.

How the +44 number works:

• It is a standard UK mobile number.

• It works in the United Kingdom and in countries included in the operator roaming zone.

• It supports calls, SMS, and mobile data according to the selected package.

Restrictions:

• Free or package minutes apply only within the United Kingdom or the region included in the plan terms.

• Calls to other countries are charged from the international package or at a higher rate.

• Using a +44 number outside the supported plan zone may consume the package faster.

Unfortunately, reactivating an eSIM with the same QR code is not possible because the eSIM is tied to the device IMEI. If you lose the QR code, you will need to buy a new eSIM.

No, one eSIM can only be used on one device. However, you can buy multiple eSIMs for different devices.

You can disable the eSIM in your device settings by selecting the relevant option in the “Mobile Networks” or “SIM cards” section.
